Progression systems shape how your character grows, whether it’s XP-based leveling, skill ranks, perk choices, or hybrid systems. These questions focus on the logic behind builds: trade-offs, scaling, and how progression affects playstyle.

Every question is multiple-choice with 4 options and no timer, so you can think through mechanics instead of racing the clock.

Skills, perks, and build planning practice

You’ll practice spotting the difference between skills (improving actions), perks (rule-breaking bonuses), and stats (core attributes), plus how they interact with gear and gameplay loops. Expect scenarios about respecs, soft caps, branching trees, and unlock conditions.

Many builds fail due to spreading points too thin, misunderstanding scaling, or picking perks that don’t match the intended role. Another frequent mistake is ignoring opportunity cost—what you give up by committing to one branch early.
