Each question gives you 4 options and there’s no timer, so you can focus on careful visual comparison. Choose your question count before starting if you want a shorter practice session, and adjust the difficulty to focus on easier fundamentals or a tougher mixed review.

Difficulty is balanced by mixing straightforward forms with similar-looking letters and less common positional shapes, so you get steady progress without the quiz feeling repetitive.

Common pitfalls to watch for

• Confusing dots (number/placement) when the base shape is similar
• Mixing up initial vs medial forms when the connecting stroke changes
• Forgetting that some letters don’t connect on one side, affecting the next letter’s shape
• Overlooking small tails/loops that distinguish final forms
• Rushing comparisons instead of checking the whole outline and dot pattern

Tips to improve faster

If you miss a question, note which position (isolated/initial/medial/final) caused the confusion and retry with fewer questions until it sticks. Repetition with mixed difficulty helps you move from “recognize slowly” to “recognize instantly.”
