Many misses come from assuming type equals family or mixing up “parallel” lines that look alike (especially in early routes). Difficulty is balanced by mixing straightforward, iconic families with occasional curveballs like split evolutions, less-memorized mid-stages, and families with subtle visual differences.

Tips for a higher score

If you’re unsure, work from what you know: identify the base form first, then mentally trace the line forward. When you want a tougher challenge, increase difficulty; when you want more repetition and confidence-building, lower difficulty and add more questions to reinforce patterns.
