Many entries describe similar concepts ("steals energy," "lives in caves," "emits heat"), which can pull you toward lookalikes. Focus on unique anchors like exact measurements, unusual habits, specific prey, or a standout body feature.

Difficulty is balanced by mixing straightforward entries with trickier ones that rely on obscure lore or similar species comparisons. Before you start, choose your preferred question count and difficulty to make it a quick warm-up or a full 138-question challenge.

• Read for unique nouns (specific foods, locations, or behaviors) rather than general adjectives
• Watch for evolution-family bait (many entries fit multiple stages at a glance)
• Use size/weight hints to eliminate options fast when they appear
• Don’t overthink early: some entries are meant to be direct giveaways
• If stuck, compare “what only one of these four could do?” rather than “what sounds right?”
